Expecting a baby is a very special time in woman’s life. Why do we document maternity through photographs? I absolutely love celebrating pregnancies with Moms-to-be. It is a beautiful time in their lives, when their body is nurturing a tiny human life inside. Every Mom is a superhero and deserves to be celebrated!

Maternity session is a way to celebrate your body and this precious time. Even though sometimes pregnancy may seem endless, in reality it is a short, once is a lifetime moment that you cannot get back. That is why maternity portraits are so special.. not only for you, but for the little human who will be looking at these portraits years later, seeing how much they were already loved, while still in Mommy’s tummy..

Please enjoy our selection from Anastasia and Matt’s elegant maternity session in our Toronto photo studio. For this photo shoot we chose ivory lacy gown for the soft and whimsical look, and a gorgeous deep red gown for the fashion, magazine-style look. And of course we played with the beautiful pastel coloured tulle skirt, every girl’s favourite! The gowns are custom made by wonderful Sew Trendy Accessories. And since Anastasia and Matt already have two (fur) kids, we took the photoshoot outside to get a quick full family portrait!
